Review the information below to answer some of the most frequent questions we receive. If your question isn't answered below please contact us.
Question: My pattern calls for both a number size and a "mm" size. Which one should I use?
Answer: Some knitting needles and crochet hooks are marked with both a number/letter size and a millimeter size (mm). It's always better to use the millimeter size as a rule of thumb, since the "mm" size remains consistent across all product brands in all parts of the world, whereas there is variance in the number/letter sizing based on brand and geography. Please refer to our Knitting Needles Sizing Chart and Crochet Hooks Sizing Chart for sizing details.
Question: Are circular knitting needles measured by the cord length or the total length?
Answer: Circular knitting needles are usually measured needle tip to needle tip, or the entire length of the knitting needles and the cording combined. All of the circular knitting needles on our site are measured needle tip to needle tip.
Question: I have a Craft Dilly order I would like to return for an exchange, store credit, or a refund. What should I do?
Answer: Our standard refund policy lasts 90 days from receipt of your package. If your order falls outside of that window please contact us, we'll be glad to try to find a solution for you.
